Computing

Technology is changing the lives of everyone. Through teaching Computing, we equip our children to participate in an ever evolving world where work and leisure activities are increasingly transformed by technology.  

Our whole curriculum is shaped by our school vision which aims to provide a broad and balanced education that meets the needs of all pupils, giving them the skills, knowledge and understanding to prepare them for their future lives. We aim to teach the skills and nurture the emotional well-being that they need to flourish in the future and to have a curious mind about the world around them, whether that is in a physical or digital world. 

We have access to our ICT Suite, Ipads and new Chromebooks to help support the teaching of Computing and other curriculum areas. Where possible, cross-curricular use of computer skills is encouraged to help further embed these skills.

Parents are asked to give permission before children use the email and Internet facilities at school.
